Thin
By not me
"Human Knowing" is a brief restatement of Thomist epistemology. The writing is crystal clear, but the superficiality of the analysis and the lack of a fair discussion of alternate views borders on the ridiculous. Bottomline: The book is too narrow to be an effective introduction to epistemology, but anyone who has a background in epistemology already would be put off by the selective presentation. I read 2/3 of the book and then donated it to our local library.

It's not only good in terms of material, but is the easiest to read philosophy book (that says anything worth saying) that I've read (perhaps ever). Buy it.
