My first John Kekes but never my last!

John Kekes has a language almost all his own. Once you read him you'll know what I mean. "The Art of Life", "The Examined life" the thoughtful life, the moral life, the life of sincerity and the need for self reflection, are all John Kekes concerns. If you care about pursuing a "good" life you ought to know what it is. "The Examined Life" is as good as any of John Kekes fine books to begin with, and I for one, vouch for the high regard he has earned. If you are a thoughtful person you will find Kekes worth your time. If you are not a thoughtful person, you really need this book! Make the effort and if you are disappointed, pass the book on. Surely you will be thanked, eventually.
